& D - Designing At INENSY we design and develop the product as per the customer needs.
Currently we work upon the requirements of the customers but the day is not far when a complete solution will be directly offered to the Original Equipments Manufacturers, using advanced technology which will be meeting all the requirements of today's ever demanding customers in terms of more reliability at lesser cost.
We have following facilities to support our R&D
Computer
Aided Designing
The products are designed and analysed on a 3D modeling software to reduce the lead time of development and to have first time right results as we have almost no margin of error today in both the areas.
The other advantage being ,our customer can fit the models in their assemblies to have a feel of assembling our products on their parts to check for fouling and ergonomical aspects.
Prototyping
With the help of 3D models the working prototypes are made faster and are offered to the customers for their mock up trials to minimize the chances of error before going ahead with the toolings.
As 3D models are available, the toolings are also developed faster on the CNC machines.
The first set
of samples undergo rigorous testing as per the specifications of
customers. We have following test equipments for testing and
validating the design :
- Automatic
switch Endurance test rig (For accelerated life testing)
- Vibration
testing equipment (Fixed frequency)
- Water ingress
test chamber
- Dust chamber
- Corrosion
resistance test chamber (Salt spray test chamber)
- Power source (
16 volts 60 Amperes)
- Non operating mechanical shock test equipment
We also have following instruments to measure the performance
of the switch during and at completion of testing :
- Electronic
continuity testers of different types with gauges.
- Torque tester
to measure the operating effort (For rotary switches)
- Push pull
meter to measure the operating effort (For Push and pull
type of switches)
- Plating
thickness checking gauge
- Digital spring
checking machine
We have set up these facilities with a view to achieve
following goals :
- To ensure the
consistency in quality and upgrade the same for existing
products.
- To validate
modifications carried out as a result of continual
improvement process in existing products.
- To validate
the new designs.
